ORDER ESTABLISHING THE MAJOR TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE AUTHORITY AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND ABOLISHING FIVE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
Order in Council
The Governor in Council by Order made under section 11 of the Public Administration Act 2004 –
- establishes the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority as an Administrative Office in relation to the Department of Transport; and
- abolishes the Level Crossing Removal Authority as an Administrative Office;
- abolishes the Major Road Projects Authority as an Administrative Office;
- abolishes the North East Link Authority as an Administrative Office;
- abolishes Rail Projects Victoria as an Administrative Office; and
- abolishes the West Gate Tunnel Authority as an Administrative Office.
This Order comes into effect on 1 January 2019.
