People matter survey 2019 – it’s time to have your say
14 May 2019
The People Matter Survey 2019 window is officially open! Look out for posters or speak to your Survey Coordinator to find out your organisation’s survey dates.
The survey has undergone a few changes for 2019. It features a revised question set to better capture valuable information on issues that affect your work life. The survey language is simpler and clearer, key terminology is defined, and questions are generally shorter – meaning the survey is easier to understand and quicker to complete.
If you can’t complete the survey in one sitting, you can pause and restart at any point. For instructions on how to do that or any other questions you may have, visit the People Matter Survey FAQ page.
Have your say and help create positive change in your workplace!
New Data-Collection Statement highlights privacy protections
29 April 2019
To provide your honest feedback in the People Matter Survey, the VPSC understands that you need to have full confidence in the anonymity of your responses. The new Data-Collection Statement for the People Matter Survey outlines in detail how we go about protecting the privacy and anonymity of survey participants.
The VPSC puts multiple safeguards in place to ensure individual survey responses remain anonymous, including separating survey responses from any identifying data, not providing organisations with individual survey responses and not providing reports for organisations/groups with fewer than 10 responses.
The People Matter Survey process is officially underway for 2019!
4 April 2019
We’ve had a great response to the 2019 People Matter Survey, with 197 organisations participating and around 50% agreeing to be transparent and share their organisation-level results.
The 2019 survey marks the first phase of the People Matter Survey Reform Project, with an improved and simplified question set covering new areas of insight and capturing valuable data on issues like sexual harassment, diversity, change management and learning.
The VPSC ran four information sessions for Survey Coordinators in March, where the VPSC team fielded questions on survey processes and the Reform Project. This year, the team was able to widen its reach by running three of the sessions as webinars — a big help to those Survey Coordinators who couldn’t make it to the face-to-face session. All sessions were well received, and participating organisations are ready to have their say.
The webinar sessions were recorded – if you would like to view the recording, please contact the People Matter Survey team on (03) 7004 7240 or email@example.com.
