What Leading the way is
Leading the Way is a strategy to improve health and safety in the public sector.
How we created Leading the way
The Victorian public sector has a shared vision for an engaged workforce that is mentally and physically safe, so it can meet the needs of the community.
Government departments, public sector organisations and unions wrote Leading the Way to achieve this vision.
We will commit to:
- take a holistic and inclusive approach to health and safety
- promote positive mental health and wellbeing
- prevent and respond to occupational violence and aggression.

- measure progress in your workplace.
