Standard recruitment processes have had mixed results with relatively low numbers of Aboriginal employees in the Victorian government.

We are focusing on improving the recruitment experience and outcomes for Aboriginal jobseekers.

Expected outcomes:

  • Increased success rate for Aboriginal applicants
  • Breadth and depth of Aboriginal applicant pool increases
  • Aboriginal workforce is more evenly distributed across functions and levels of the public sector
