Survey name change from GSERP to PEERS
The Government Sector Executive Remuneration Panel (GSERP) survey is now the Public Entity Executive Remuneration Survey (PEERS).
This change reflects the transfer of the VPSC’s GSERP responsibilities to the Office of Public Sector Executive Remuneration (OPSER) in late 2018.
Consistent with its role and functions, the VPSC will continue to collect executive remuneration data to support OPSER and Departments and to monitor and provide advice on public sector employment.
This resource lists the instructions and support materials you will need to provide the data necessary for the PEERS.
A training manual providing you detailed guidance on how to use the new PEERS data collection system will be made available soon.
The data collected is used to monitor and report on executive employment, remuneration and compliance with government executive employment policy.
All organisations that are required to respond to the PEERS survey are advised when the survey is underway and are provided with access details.
Executive collection is now undertaken once a year, as at the last full pay period in June.
