Eligibility for one of these programs

To apply for one of our Aboriginal employment or career support programs you must:

• be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
• identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and
• be accepted as such in the community in which you live, or have lived.

• Aboriginal staff network – Nyanak Lotjpa ‘We all talk’

  Nyanak Lotjpa ‘We all talk’ is an Aboriginal staff network supporting connection and development opportunities for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander employees across the public sector.

• Aboriginal pathway to Victorian Government graduate program

  The Aboriginal Pathway is a culturally supportive entry point for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduates wishing to apply for the Victorian Government graduate program.

• Aboriginal career development program

  An career coaching and development program for First Nations employees who work in the Victorian public sector.

• Barring Djinang leadership program

  The Barring Djinang leadership program supports the development of First Nations leadership across the public and First Nations community sectors.
